Greetings my beautiful readers, I have explained what DD/LG is and now it is time to explain a dd/lg term known as Littlespace! I will explain what Littlespace means as well as give some examples as to what a little might do in littlespace, also what a caregiver can do to help keep a little in littlespace.
What is Littlespace?
This term is used to describe the mental state that a little is in whilst they regress into their preferred little age. It is still called littlespace no matter the age in which they regress into. Littlespace is a safe place for littles. For a majority of littles it is also non-sexual due to the fact that they are in the mindset of a small child, bringing a sexual attitude into their safe place can affect their mindset in a very negative way as well as bring them completely out of the headspace. Littles use this headspace to cope with things in their life and its very common that being a little derives from a form of daddy issues in a woman, which means that bringing a sexual attitude into their littlespace can possibly trigger flashbacks of a bad memory or time in their past. Therefore, you should always treat the little as their preferred age while they are in little space and nothing more unless they consent otherwise.
As their caregiver {also referred to as Daddy or Mommy} you are the person that the little depends on in this headspace! A little needs someone to take care of them while they age regress. The role of their caregiver is to help them into littlespace if they need it, and to keep them in little space by doing things for them that a child could not do and treating them as their preferred little age. In the article I wrote explaining dd/lg also gives examples of how to help a little while in littlespace. To help a little into this headspace can be different for every little and the best thing to do is talk to your little and find out what they like and dislike while in littlespace and take into consideration the age range of which your little prefers to regress to.One thing to always remember is to never, I repeat NEVER ever ignore your little or treat them as if their bothering you in that mindset; this can make the little feel unimportant and a nuisance to you. Their sensitive and should be treated with care.
Rules & Punishments!
This gives your little a sense of order while still asserting dominance by punishing the little in some way if they do not follow the rules. Can be anything anything really.
Maybe regarding their health: Brush your teeth twice a day, study for 2 hrs a day, etc. Things pertaining to a hobby they have like: Draw a new fruit each day, write a poem each week, even just personal things.
The Punishments can be as simple and non sexual as time out, no more candy; or they can also be used sexually for later when they aren't in littlespace anymore such as teasing, denial and bondage. The little must agree to the rules and punishments.
